Why use digital signs in public areas?

Digital Signage Tutorial

Part 1

Curved LED screens as public display

What are digital signs?

Digital signs are used in the same way and for the same reasons as analog printed or painted signs, to communicate a message.

However digital signs are more efficient than conventional signs for a number of reasons:

- Digital signs are dynamic. This create a much stronger impression than static signs do.

- Digital signs can be remotely controlled and you can always be sure that the right message is shown at the right time. You do not have to rely on the locals staff to get your message through.

- Digital signs can be scheduled to show different messages at different times of the day.

- Digital signs can be used to create fascinating environments and will add to the atmosphere of your store, restaurant, café or hotel.

In the following pages you will be given some examples on how digital signage can add to any environment and to make people better informed and entertained. When customers ad staff are pleased the sales will increase and your economy will grow.

Welcome to the new media of the 21st century.

-”On the screens of their smart phones, tablets, computers and TVs, everyone can choose exactly what to watch from a never ending ocean of information.

When it comes to screens in public areas, people do not choose the experience themselves. This makes digital signage a superior way to reach out to and surprise the customers with the right message at the right time and at the right location”.
